MissImp in London Sunday 11th March
Yes that’s right, we’re upping sticks for a Sunday and travelling to far off London, home of tall buildings, unacknowledged immigrant workers and broken dreams. We’re taking part in Impro Fest UK, a seven day festival of improvisation (as the name suggests). The whole festival is at the intriguing Lion and Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town and organised by Sprout Ideas, Rolling Sky and Giant Olive Theatre Company.
We’ll be joining a host of fabulous improv groups from, well mainly London. East Midlands reprazent. There’s loads of ace stuff to see, so if you’re in London get your improv wick well and truly dipped.

Our show is on Sunday 11th March at 3pm – MissImp in Action – we’ll be dishing up the usual mix of the hilarious and hideous fast-paced games and scenes for your viewing pleasure. MissImp in Action Friday February 24th
Showtime!
Has it been a month already? Well a busy one for MissImp with a bunch of teeny tiny giglets leading up to our end of the month rawr-fest at The Glee Club on Friday 24th February.
Come for the comedy and stay for the remarkable strangeness that occurs when your suggestions meet in our players minds. We have a splendid team for you of Marilyn, Geoff, Lloydie, Nick, Martin and Trilly, compered by the impeccably be-suited David Ferland McCullough.
We have games, lyrical bewilderment, engaging and horrifying characters, situations and sketches for you to enjoy. Drink heartily and maybe grab some of Glee’s wonderful foods. We believe it’s Thai food Friday. Nom nom.
So what you could you possiby be waiting for? Book now! We love to see you there and hear the bizarre things you comeup with to inspire our scenes.

Light Night MissImp on Fire: Friday 10th February
MissImp are taking part in Nottingham Light Night and are putting a show on in the wonderful Lincolnshire Poacher pub on Mansfield Road. It’s a late night show (well late for us oldies) – 9.30-11.00, and best of all, it’s FREE. Yes, that means no pennies at all. You can focus your wallet solely on the array of Real Ales the Poacher has for you. We’re excited to be part of such a big event. There are dozens of other cool and interesting events across Nottingham town centre which will surely entertain you until the show begins: Light Night Outdoor Events / Light Night Indoor Events. MissImp on Fire
We’re putting three new players up with the support and love of three of our stalwart Glee team: David, Martin and Geoff are welcoming James, Brendan and Parky to the stage. Overseeing their show will be the lovely Trilly as compere. It’s sure to be a fun evening of scenes, games and improvised wackitude. Did we mention that it’s FREE? And funny, and improvised, and in a great pub? Oh, good.

MissImp in Action Friday January 27th
We’re back!
Yes, it’s been ages since our last show at The Glee Club in November but IT IS ON! This Friday sees us return with a show packed full of improvised wonders – our trademark (accidentally typed ‘tardemark’ – speaks volumes) blend of classic games (anyone else love ‘Around The World in Really Bad Accents’?), crazy sketches and maybe one or two songs… We’ve missed it terribly and the team is raring to go – we bring you Lloydie, Geoff, David, Marilyn, Nick and not one, but two special guests – twice as special as simlarly special things.
Nottingham Live – Fri 20th Jan @ The Maze
MissImp are proud to be kicking off the upstairs shenanigans at Nottingham Live’s music event at the Maze on Friday 20th January! We’re on at 7.30 before all the music goes boom! Yup, we’ll be splattering a tough 4 man team over the stage to warm you up to choons. You can get in and comfy from 7.00pm.
Nottingham Live have lined up a terrific night of local acts. It’s going to rock. Apparently Captain Pigheart will also be reading pirate stories somewhere in the evening.
Entry is £3 for comedy, music and a really chilled place to be.
