Woo! Free comedy workshops for kids!

As you may know, MissImp recently launched Little Imps – improvised comedy for 8-12 year olds.  Little Imps gives 8-12 year olds the opportunity to learn improvised comedy and drama skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Now, we’re delighted to offer all 8-12 year olds (and a friend!) the opportunity to attend one of our brilliant workshops absolutely free of charge.

Simply click on the voucher on the right hand side of this page, print it out and bring it with you to one of our Saturday morning sessions.  It entitles two 8-12 year olds to come along and try out one of our sessions without paying a penny.

What can your child expect to learn? Well, improvised comedy helps kids learn many skills including:

  • Listening, focusing and paying attention
  • Public speaking and stage performance
  • Developing imaginative situations and characters
  • Confidence and social interaction
  • Quick thinking and creativity

These are drop-in workshops and so your child is welcome to come every week or simply whenever they are available. All we need is your signed consent to start with. And, you’re welcome to stay if you wish, although our CRB approved staff will be delighted to entertain your kids for you.

Who are we? We are MissImp, Nottingham’s only performance improvisation group. We’ve been playing to packed crowds since 2008 and have received our training from the best improvisers in the UK, Europe and the USA.

(For reference, some of the other content on the MissImp website is a tad child-unfriendly. Just so you don’t let them hear naughty words by accident…)
