MissImp & Bangor ImpSoc Team Up | 27th February 2011

On Sunday 27th February MissImp joins forces with Bangor’s ImpSoc comedy team for a one-off adventure at The Glee Club.

ImpSoc is Bangor University’s best/only improv comedy group. Combining only the finest dropouts with the highest quality rejects, they have been taking pubs beyond maximum capacity and delighting audiences for literally years. Their last show was described as “quick-witted, confident, and comedic genius”, and they now take their non-stop show on an International tour of nearly epic proportions.

By combining our finest players MissSoc(?) present an evening of silly games, vigorous jabber and improvised excitement. It’s a couple of hours of unplanned joy on the most joyless day of the week – forget about Monday and live in the moment in comfortable surroundings and people making you laugh.

New people to play with means new scenes, new action and comedy multiplied by large numbers!

The Glee ClubAll entry £3 each

Doors open 6.45, doors close 7.15 – show starts at 7.30pm (and a nice early night before Monday!)

During the coronavirus outbreak, MissImp has continued to offer entirely free online activities for our community, including commissioning an ongoing series of paid virtual drop-ins from improvisers around the world, fortnightly online Gorilla Burger shows and more. If you’d like to help us keep these activities going and keep our lights on we’d be immensely grateful. Together, we can get through this.
