The Vortex // Squidheart // All-Female Improv Jam | Saturday 19th May 2018

The Vortex // Squidheart // All-Female Improv Jam

Saturday 19th May

We are sold out already! Which is super-cool, but also super-sad if you’ve missed out. Fear not: The Vortex will return, and if you want to be kept in that sweet improv news loop, join our mailing list!

This fantastically funny female troupe will transform one of YOUR suggestions into a whole fantastic show with no scripts, no conferring, and nothing preplanned! After which they will be hosting MissImp’s first ever Women’s Jam – so if you identify as a woman or non-binary and fancy giving improv a go, this is your time to shine, supported by some of the best ladies the UK’s improv scene has to offer!

With support from SQUIDHEART!

SQUIDHEART is the new twoprov project of Birmingham-based Kate Knight and Suzie Evans. They’re a little bit weird (like a squid) and decidedly heartfelt (like a heart, made of felt.) Previous audiences have described their show as ‘surreal genius’, ‘hilarious’, and other nice things.

During the coronavirus outbreak, MissImp has continued to offer entirely free online activities for our community, including commissioning an ongoing series of paid virtual drop-ins from improvisers around the world, fortnightly online Gorilla Burger shows and more. If you’d like to help us keep these activities going and keep our lights on we’d be immensely grateful. Together, we can get through this.
