Hi Everyone, slightly late but here’s our COVID-19 update:
As you’re all aware, England is currently in a national lockdown until at least 2nd December. The current rules are as follows:
-
- Stay at home, except for specific purposes. E.g. shopping, working if you cannot work from home or exercising.
- Avoid meeting people you do not live with, except for specific purposes. E.g work, caring responsibilities, education.
- Close certain businesses and venues.
Obviously, this means that we cannot safely restart in-person activities for the foreseeable future. We know that this is disappointing, but we have to put everyone’s safety first. It is likely that when the national lockdown ends, Nottingham will go straight back into Tier 3 restrictions (or new equivalent), which means it is very unlikely that we will be doing any live improv before 2021, though we’re hopeful for in-person activities after Easter.

What We Are Doing
Our current plans are to continue alternating our video drop-ins and Gorilla Burger nights on a weekly basis (it’s Gorilla Burger this Thursday!) We intend to carry on with our weekly virtual pub sessions. In addition, we are looking into developing a wider range of social activities for our community. We also hope to have a few fun surprise activities for everyone to join in with. Keep your eyes peeled for a fun December!
