Are you sick of feeling stuck in improv scenes with someone who gives you initiations or responses that you just can’t stand? That’s the worst! This is supposed to be fun! Well, it can be! Let’s turn it all around and try to make the best scenes out of the worst ones. We’ll work on taking charge of your outlook and finding ways to have fun with anyone!
Vanessa Anton lives in San Diego, CA where she is the Director of Inclusion & Vulnerability for Cornerstone Improv. She’s taught for University of CA San Diego Extension, Finest City Improv, The Torch in Phoenix, Improv Fest Ireland, Orange County Improv Fest, Camp Improv Utopia, Stranger Than Fiction in New Hampshire, MissImp in Nottingham, Liverpool Comedy Improv, University Centre Shrewsbury, and Mischief Managed in Chester.
She’s trained at UCB, The Annoyance and Pack Theater and obsessively at improv camps, festivals and wherever possible. She’s also currently quite fond of the advanced drop-ins held weekly by the Nursery Theatre in London.
If you’re a MissImp regular workshop and drop-in attendee, you might like to join us in the MissImp Members group on Facebook, where tonight we’ll be enjoying virtual pub chat via Zoom from 8.30pm. Next week is Virtually Gorilla Burger!
