Welcome to another great virtual drop-in, entitled “Discovering Your Dynamics” with the fantastic David Escobedo! The differences are what makes life beautiful. A lot of times we get frozen in scenes, or even tunnel vision in only making observations about the other person. Your observations and listening should widen out to the entire team, the audience and especially YOURSELF. This workshop starts off with how to find the dynamics, and then some dynamics as examples. (I also tell you what the drawing behind me is of.)
David Escobedo has been performing and coaching improv since 1994. He is the founder of and creates the content for The Improv Boost. He has Bachelor’s Degree in Directing and Performing. Then has an MA in Drama with a focus on improv, and is now pursuing his PhD in Improv (drama). He believes that one of the best things to do is come into a scene with nothing – and that will give you everything.
