Virtual Improv Drop-In: The Voices! The Voices! with Marilyn Ann Bird. This workshop is about how to create character voices using different inspirations and some ideas for how to practise them on your own during lockdown.
Marilyn is a full-time actor and voiceover artist and has been trained by teachers from UCB, Second City, IO, The Maydays, Baby Wants Candy and even Armando Diaz and the Mike McShane. She’s been with MissImp for around two decades (although exact dates are hazy). She performs with It’s a Trap! The Improvised Star Wars Show, Rhymes Against Humanity, twoprov Atomic Budgerigar and anyone else who will have her. She once met Colin Mochrie and wants to be Josie Lawrence when she grows up.
This drop-in is FREE, but donate below if you wish to!
If you’re a MissImp regular workshop and drop-in attendee, we’re recreating our post-improv drop-in bar experience with a Virtual Pub on Zoom at 8.30pm tonight – join the MissImp Members group on Facebook or drop us an email to find the invitation.
